My last name is pronounced like “Holiday”. My husband’s Family, way back when, had chicken thieves (yeah, apparently that was a thing). Well, one day, they find out it’s their own relatives! They’re appalled! And so, they drop the “Y” from their last name in an effort to disassociate themselves from their criminal cousins.

And that, my friends, is how the chicken thieves got away with their chickens AND their “Y”!

3. I'm a recovering plant killer with a house full of thriving plants. And yes, they all have names.
4. I try to eat a healthy, balanced diet and live a healthy lifestyle… until my kids are in bed... then its dessert on the couch with a favorite TV show.
